I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Auntie Joan. She was such a wonderful person and so talented yet modest and kind and always in such high spirits when I met her. She always lifted the atmosphere and made everyone feel happy. I looked forward to her visits every September in the last few years. I will never forget how kind she was to me when I first visited Canada when I was 16 and how much fun we all had that great Christmas in Kingussie 1979. I am very sad but have happy memories.
