Dear Gerald and Family, I was so sorry to hear of your unimaginable loss. Joan was a magnificent woman and having her as a wife, mother or grandmother must have been an extraordinary experience. In Kingston, she did so much for the arts, and she will long be remembered for her verve, her smile, her originality, her friendliness.
